It’s King Tides season, a great time of year to engage people on science and climate change! Organizers have been invited by numerous media outlets and museums to spread the word.  Two that we’re really excited about:

  • On January 2, 2014, the California King Tides Project will participate in the Exploratorium’s After Dark program, “The Science of Sharing“.  As a part of the pop up exhibit, there will be a DIY photo booth showing how high future king tides will rise within the lifetime of museum visitors.
  • On January 10, 2014, Marina Psaros will be speaking at the Oakland Museum’s Friday Nights @OMCA about sea level rise and the king tides.

Stop by and say hi if you’re in the Bay Area!
